I am bilingual, English/Spanish, but also fluent in Portuguese, Italian, and French. Over the past eight years I've asked myself what the hell Mar-a-Lago means. Literally, "The sea at the lake"? It would need "al" instead of "a." Still meaningless. It's a phony name, just like its inhabitant(s).
