Charlie Coyle, acquired by COL, is a middle-six shoot-first centre. Goes to the net and makes himself available for passes to the slot, has slick hands too. Decent size and physicality, and while he's deployed as a shut-down centre he hasn't had a great D impact. #GoAvsGo

Logan Stankoven, acquired by CAR, is a dynamic young forward. Creative with the puck, a prolific rush player, and a strong playmaker. 5"8 but not afraid to battle or go to tough areas. Insert Canes joke: his only issue this season has been terrible finishing. #Canes

Luke Schenn, acquired by WPG, is a physical veteran defenceman. Throws lots of hits, takes a lot of shots from the point, actually has a little bit of puck-moving utility. One of the slowest players in the league, though. #GoJetsGo

Brandon Tanev, acquired by WPG, is a speedy and physical forechecking winger. Still a dog off the puck but it hasn't added up to the excellent defensive impacts it used to lately. The tools are still there for him to be an effective fourth liner though. #GoJetsGo

Scott Laughton, acquired by TOR, is a third line net-crashing centre who plays with an edge. Crashes the net, retrieves and steals pucks, throws hits. Generally produces pretty well. Finishing touch not amazing. Production has been stable, but impact has bounced back from 23-24.

Dylan Cozens, acquired by OTT, is a young scoring centre who has struggled with consistency. When he’s on, a skilled puck carrier in transition who scores off grimy plays in the slot and cleanly off the rush. When he’s not, he struggles to create quality chances and defend.

Josh Norris, acquired by BUF, is a scoring centre with the tools to be more than that. Extremely efficient shooter, dangerous one-T, tricky shot. Playmaking not quite as good. Great speed, physicality, defensive stick. Needs to put it all together to be a two-way scorer.

Mikko Rantanen, extended 8x$12M by DAL, is a star scoring winger with a track record of high-end chance creation, finishing, and passing, including in the playoffs. Production wasn't there in CAR but underlying results showed terrific playdriving and chance numbers nonetheless.

Jake Walman, acquired by EDM, is an offensive defenceman. Has a big point shot and loves to use it. Good puck mover with a nice stretch pass. Can be a bit turnover prone, not particularly physical. Has had an impressive season all things considered as SJ's #1. #LetsGoOilers

Carson Soucy, acquired by NYR, is a stay-at-home defenceman. Big, battles for pucks, solid defensive stick. Not a fast skater and very limited with the puck. Was very effective as a shutdown guy last season, this year not so much. #NYR

Yanni Gourde, acquired by TB, is a two-way centre who crashes the net, harrasses opponents with stick checks, board battles, forechecking, and even hits despite being only 5’9. Plays behind the net and extends possessions by protecting the puck and making low-to-high passes. Poor finishing touch.

Oliver Bjorkstrand, acquired by TB, is a two-way scoring winger who carries the puck in transition and plays a shot-first game at even strength while dishing it on the powerplay. Works hard without the puck and has a good defensive stick. Not big or fast but protects the puck.

Cam Fowler, acquired by STL, is a puck-moving defenceman. Has played way too many minutes in ANA and has been brutal defensively so far this season (has struggled defending the rush especially) but has one of the most accurate stretch passes in the game. No physicality. #STLBlues
