I saw some speculation on who would win Miss Congeniality this season and my first immediate thought was, '...None of them?' I can't wait to put this season in the rearview mirror so I can see them shine in the real world and not as the little monsters they act like on the show

There WAS an F/X tv show, but it was made, like, ten years after the film

Peter Baker's beautiful Washington DC home as my 2nd address? I think it would be a boon to my personal wealth and lifestyle. But it would also be a boon to my cat, who would gain a lot more room to run around.

Thanks for this. 💚 I like bots for disconnects, particularly in regular 1v4 games, but those poor little guys just don't seem to be meant for the 2v8. It's just too much chaos for them. As a survivor, I would absolutely prefer a longer queue time and start with a full human lobby.

About time. Claiming to be a Sixties Scoop survivor when you're not is just ghoulish

Nothing makes me feel more old and resentful than the sudden shift to calling programs "apps." I feel like I got tossed into an alternate universe one day and just never noticed

Fascism does not recognize hypocrisy unless it's politically useful to do so. There are no principles involved. It's only about taking and holding power, then using power for their own whims and desires.
You can't trap a fascist in an ideological paradox. That's just a Gordian knot.

My partner and I used to go to to movies at least once or twice a month, but people don't mask, so COVID is constantly moving in a never-ending wave in our small city. Paying an arm and a leg for a snackless movie experience, while we remain masked, is just not worth it. It's easier to stay home.

Racist proponents of slavery are always a "product of their time," but abolitionists are always...a product of someone else's, apparently.

RuPaul said something very similar in an NPR interview back in 2016 -- having lived it, of course -- and it was very sobering for me.

I didn't get this at all until I saw that podcast clip with Bryan Spears in 'Framing Britney', where he grumped about the behaviour of ALL of the women in his family until the interviewer pointed out that they had constitutional rights, which seemed to surprise Bryan. Sent chills down my spine.

Last year, I decided I wanted to learn to play guitar. My partner, who had bought a Squier years ago and had never made much headway, looked at me like I was crazy. But I picked up a used tele and tried Justin's lessons, and they worked wonders for us. Never would have known where to start on my own
