Keep in mind that #Medicaid is not a pay-out to poor or low-income persons. It makes payment health care providers who treat these folks. If we don’t do, these folks will get sick(er), miss work, etc. And the costs they put the system in uncompensated care will push up insurance rates.

Just to give context: Sununu was gov of NH when vouchers to private schools gave more per student than the state gave to public schools. NH is last in state support for public schools and higher education youtube.com/watch?v=kIIP...

The black line is how much a 64-yr old couple earning $90K/yr has to pay per month for the benchmark #ACA policy in 2025. The blue bars are how much they'd have to pay in 2026 if the IRA subsidies are allowed to expire. I'm only halfway through the states.

On one level I’m disgusted that Trump is in the front row next to Macron at Notre Dame. But then saw John Kerry is there. Sure wish Biden, a devout Catholic, was representing US. On the other hand, this may be the longest Trump has ever had to sit in a church. Looks to be falling asleep.

Biden will be exiting the public stage in less than 2 months, and at that time will be politically irrelevant. He is a father who cares for his once troubled son, and wanted to give him an escape from a legal prosecution really aimed at Joe, not Hunter. I applaud him. Hunter has paid enough.
