THANKFULLY, the program that I pay my rent through hasn't updated or tried to charge me yet, so I have SOME time. But STILL. This is very annoying. I feel like I'm juggling plates and I no sooner am able to set one down than another one gets placed.

Meantime, I'm gonna look into other outlets but with it being the weekend I can't do much until Monday. Work apparently has some super sekrit loan program that's in beta and my manager and coworker who's also GOING THROUGH IT told me to talk to HR on Monday about it.

She repeated to me six different times, that HER break has been two hours late too. And I was like "yeah but. . .you're management when you're in that position, so your breaks are supposed to come after ours." I didn't SAY that, but it went through my head.

Which hadn't been my point. My point had been no one had told her I was gonna be there cause I'd talked to the manager and not her. So like. . .she didn't know I was coming in until I got there in the middle of the power outage. But. . .she still should have remembered I needed a break.

I said "In her defense, I had called in, so she'd crossed me off." and he said "Oh. What time did you get here?" and I said "My scheduled time, but she didn't know that cause I talked to (manager in charge)" and he went "OH. So it's REALLY on us that she messed it up. Because you got here on time."

I had called in that morning, so I was marked off the schedule but then written down on the bottom. So I get up to the desk and my manager went "(Jilly) I am SO SORRY. I don't know why it's so hard for people up here to do their jobs without being told" (Meaning the SC in charge).

So one of my coworkers was like "HEY. (JILLY) Hasn't had any kind of break today." I refuse to tell them when I'm supposed to have a break because it's literally the only part of their job. So, my manager sent her back and she told me to go on break.

We're supposed to get a break every two hours. Finally, around 3:30 (four and a half hours after I came in), I mention in passing to coworker who just came in that I haven't had any breaks at all. Because the person running the desk was too busy worrying about HER breaks.

I HATE the way she acted like. . .if I had the money, I would have paid on time. It's not like I wanted to give them an extra $200. Like if a person is paying late, it's cause they have no choice. 😮💨
