Yes. And Chicago. It feels like the US might be headed into another troubled era.

There's something particularly meta about printing your own printing press... 😉

I've got some maple, yew, and chestnut leaves drying. Looking forward to doing the same!

I'm counting the "So that's where that went!" moments. :)

OK... This is getting weird. I stopped and stared at this image in a gallery window yesterday! It's beautiful.

That's an issue for anyone taking the speaker's role. Usually, other members agree to take on the representation. All the nearby ridings are Liberal or NDP, so it shouldn't be an issue.

(4) That's what Mark Carney meant when he said that the old relationship was over. It's dead. #never51 #elbowsup #noanschluss #canadastrongandfree

(3) This is over and above the tariffs, trade war talk, border crossing uncertainty, etc... The US has become a threatening, untrusted entity. Canadians look south with fear and trepedation now. It may be possible to rebuild a trusting relationship, but it will take a lot of work, and a lot of time.

(2) So we as a nation are in the same situation as a woman having a previously trusted coworker look over and say "Yes, I think I could rape you any time I want." And then follow up with "And you would like it."

I agree. But the morbid question keeps coming up. If the US constitution is under threat from within, how can the command structure respond?

Thank-you! I've saved the image, can it be re-used? Is there a credit I can assign?

He's already infallible. But isn't there something about being Catholic (or at least Christian) in the job description?

Vancouver, BC. Main Street at East Georgia looking south. The building on the right is a BC Hydro substation dressed up to look like a business. It's got a great art deco molding over the door.

(3) Ask the Air Force to secure the building and they'll take out an option to buy.

(2) Ask the Army to secure the building and they'll ring it with razor wire, guards, and a machine gun post. Ask the Navy to secure it and they'll walk through locking doors and turning out lights.

"Secure" is a variable concept. Ask the US Marines to secure a building and they'll assault it room by room, kicking in doors and throwing grenades. It may be a smoking ruin after, but they've "secured" it.
