It's critical for everyone to remember what an Executive Order is. It is the President communicating orders to members of the executive branch. Policies to pursue, actions to take, etc. They are not laws. They are not close to being laws. They are formalized memos to employees. That's all.

Cheerio Skype. You enabled me and my wife to become digital nomads back in 2009. It took 3 months for a client to notice it was still sunny outside. My SkypeIn phone number was hooked to my cell number and people just thought I was down the road. Videos ran on 1-2mbit perfectly. Game changer tech 🫡

I’m baffled. Just got made aware of this across ALL UK newspapers yesterday. I didn’t see it as I don’t buy printed newspapers. There was no buzz online. It was in print only? None of the digital editions? Feels like a complete miss after what was clearly tricky to orchestrate.

Any iOS users finding this useful? I’ve always turned it off on stuff like Gmail. Categorisation is wrong so I now have 4 places to check which takes much longer. Plus 2 finger selection no longer works. It’s very buggy. So all in all, not great Apple UX team 🫤 💛💛🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶

So… um… tariffs. Paid by the importer to the gov. I get they *can* protect domestic interests or be punitive. But it’s just tax/duty right? Tax ultimately paid by the country’s citizens. So basically just a tax increase sold differently?
