If that's the case, it's time for a mutiny.

My dad was ex British army and although he never questioned the US army's capability, he used to say they are the only ones who march like they're walking home from a night at the pub.

The UK should condemn him for being a sycophantic servile little prick.

The moment to act is now, America. Stop it while you can... before it's too late to do anything.

😂😂😂 Like the guy would be stood out in the open if he thought there was anyone there to shoot back.

We had a king in England once who tried to dissolve parliament and rule by decree.. He was found guilty of treason and beheaded.. No one is above the law. If Trump wants to be a king, start sharpening the axe.

Hitler in his bunker at the end of the war was moving imaginary battalions around on a map while the red army was literally banging at the door.. He'd lost his mind and was delusional.. Trump's post is giving me this kind of vibe 😂

Don't worry. No Americans approved the attack because they aren't trusted enough to be in the loop.

America..Seriously? Wtf.

I think maybe the parents need curing of their stupidity more than the children need 'curing' of autism.

Imagine a man with Trump's ego realising he's been completely cut out of the loop.. That will eat away at his tiny mind. I'm sure the other members of the 5 eyes intelligence sharing network are also withholding information deemed too sensitive for American officials now.

I'm thinking either Julia Roberts (in pretty woman) and colonial manor house.. Or a crack head with no teeth and a shack near a swamp..

I had a job op in Scotland before ref. Never took it but had already decided as an outsider I shouldn't vote either way. UK as a whole is very London-centric, NW & NE England very neglected (especially under Thatcher).. No wonder there's resentment.

Whereas tory legacy is to sell off publicly owned assets for a quick buck and leave us dealing with the consequences for ever.

Fuck me! If it ever becomes farage land, I'm off (to Scotland 😂). I'm in northern England (with family connections in Scotland & Ireland). When there are serious shortages in the south, tankers take water from here to there. As long as there's plenty here (there always is!) it's not really an issue.
comment in response to post
So, what is the argument here? Genuinely interested. England isn't pumping water from Scottish reservoirs.. But England is stealing Scottish rain? Or Scottish and English rivers not respecting the border? I'm not anti independence, just anti bull shit. Surely there are better arguments.
comment in response to post
Fabrication. I'm neutral on the subject but if you have to make stuff up in the hope of gaining support, then you're in the same category as UKIP, Farage, Johnson & Reform. Arguments should be based on facts. If there aren't enough facts, then there isn't an argument. Stick to the actual issues.

That's assuming America would be on Nato's side.. They might be busy invading Canada, Greenland or Panama..

He's yours now.. You let him in, you have to fucking keep him.. I didn't make the rules. We don't want him back so...erm.. Thanks 👍😂

Every Tory govt is just a smash & grab to fill their pockets (& those of their backers) while in power. Long term thinking isn't part of their plan. That's why it all went so tits up for them last time around..they were in power so long they actually suffered the consequences of their own policies.

The press make a huge deal about govt subsidising the railway but without it the private operators wouldn't run unprofitable services, meaning station/line closures. Hs2 will probably never recoup it's cost & have to be subsidised. On the other hand, Edinburgh to London shouldn't take all day!
comment in response to post
Good point but I feel that the £ would be better spent improving the infrastructure we have, to make the existing system work better. We're a small island with an extensive network but it's under strain. The priority should be people's daily commute, not reducing Mcr to London by 30 mins IMO.
comment in response to post
The world press warned about the rise of the 'American Taliban' (religious fundamentalist) during the Bush administration. Seems half of the US didn't get the memo.
comment in response to post
I work on the railway and I haven't yet met anyone who thought hs2 was a good idea.. From the start it was all about lining people's pockets. It's not about passengers, it's about making lots of money at the expense of taxpayers.

Maybe they should also mention that this cockwomble prefers a US style health system over the NHS. So our pensioners will be nice as warm as they sit at home dying of something they can't afford treatment for.

I think we've finally run out of all the credit that the glory days earned us, regarding prestige and pulling power. No champions league.. A rebuild is on the cards but it will have to be on a budget!

Brexit did damage and caused resentment on the EU side too.. some countries more than others. I see this as the first step to fixing things.. A small step in the right direction.

Farage has French (Huguenot refugee) & German heritage.. His ex wife is German and his current partner is French. Two of his children are German citizens.. His ancestors (and therefore he, himself) would not be here if Britain had refused refugees & immigrants entry.
