it's more than 15 years worth of memories and historical records. this is stuff that goes all the way back to Justin.tv. and all that to be replaced by a measly 100 hours? Its pretty bad my dude, and there's not even a guarantee that this will ACTUALLY save them money. its a bandaid solution

They didn't even use their main Twitter account to make the announcement, they used the fucking Twitch Support channel, to make sure that NOONE see's this fucking change, and had a stream to talk about it less than 24 hours after the announcement ALSO ONLY THROUGH THE TWITCH SUPPORT ACCOUNT

I understand storage costs money, BUT IF ONLY .5 PERCENT IS THE ONE USING IT (speedrunners and deceased/passed accounts) MAYBE LOOK INTO WAYS TO ARCHIVE THAT STUFF NATURALLY IN YOUR SYSTEMS, CAUSE RIGHT NOW EVEN JUSTIN'S STUPID STREAMS ARE GOING TO VANISH INTO THE ABYSS CAUSE OF YOUR DUMBASSES
