The cartels... are making use of birthright citizenship... how exactly? Are the women cartel members cynically birthing little baby drug dealers who can't be deported?

This is pretty cringe

While campaigning, Trump loudly and often said stopping all the world's wars — and preventing all future wars — was a very, very easy thing to do. He doesn't deserve any wiggle room on this. He said it was a very, very, very simple thing to do. He said this very explicitly.

I mean, it feels a LITTLE bit hypocritical that the same people who have such a big problem with protestors rallying under “foreign flags” are also such big fans of statues of Robert E. Lee.

Tired: the government is lying to the public about UFOs. Inspired: the government is lying to the public about lying to the public about UFOs.

A great piece on media double standards.

When Jordan Peterson is doing an interview with a right-wing guy does he get equally bogged down in semantics? "Well that depends what you mean by 'woke'?"

the president accusing joe biden of being a clone decanted in 2020 to assume the presidency is not going to make the news tomorrow

It’s all so stupid

A big difference between liberal media and conservative media is that it’s very hard to imagine the right wing equivalent of the NYT sowing this kind of doubt and pessimism in their audience on the regs

I was watching a Taylor Lorenz video and man, her political opinions are weird. In her telling, the great villain of the last decade of American politics is Biden... because he repealed the Covid state-of-emergency. This take alone probably commands like, what, 1% public support?

Trump’s crypto corruption is grotesque for a host of reasons — the obvious ones being the brazen abuse of the presidency to make money for himself while in office. But there’s also the uniquely soulless spectacle of hocking a make-believe “digital currency” that’s entirely useless.

It’s putting up a giant ominous portrait of Trump in downtown Washington DC a good thing or bad thing? Who can say, says the New York Times. wapo.st/4kaH9PM

This is not a thing

Giant banners of Trump at the department of friggin agriculture?

Nowhere in the Constitution is it specified that the parts written in ink are more valid than the white background. by Jonathan Turley

New video! Unusual topic! youtu.be/S3wYi3s8E3k?...

With Trump, the subtext truly becomes text.

Nice restaurants love to have a dessert called like “Milk and Cereal” or “Donuts and Coffee” and it’s their little take on what if those things cost nineteen dollars.

This attack in Vancouver is monstrous. It’s an irrational cliché, but you never think these sorts of things will happen in *your* city. The senselessness of this sort of violence and mass death comes from the fact that all it takes is a single sadistic desire.

Busts don’t look as dramatic in Canada with our colorful money.

OUT: Free market conservatism IN: Trump owns America and sets the prices

Trump hates Zelensky for “starting” the war but is also mad at him for not starting the war sooner.

This is so good @saletan.bsky.social.

No one ever guesses the next pope correctly. Those “leading contender” articles are just clickbait filler. I think the only pope of the last 60 years who anyone saw coming was Ratzinger.
