Yeah… all those hilarious #BuzzLife posts I made. I’ll be sad to lose them. Did you know you can’t search hashtags on your own page? It just gives your *everybody’s* results except your own. 😞

She laughed in relief and said “Thank you so much.” It seemed as though she couldn’t actually say “Holy shit… yes!” But the relief in her voice in that laugh was self evident.

I called my Representative’s office and shared my plea for bravery and strength in the face of these erstwhile oligarchs, and then I thanked the young woman for answering the phone, acknowledging that it must be “a lot right now.”

Okay, I cannot recommend 5calls.org enough. Enter your address and it will find all your reps (federal and state). AND give you a list of issues to call about AND which reps to call about each of them AND a little script for each, in case it's helpful. They have an app, too.

It’s already happened here. I was at the Orthodontist this afternoon and a young woman in the chair behind me suddenly started sobbing in fear. The translator said “She just found out ICE is in her neighborhood.”
