Ok? So some random police brutality case, cool, but this is isn’t mass system targeting. Y’all are larping so hard for a Revolution. Please read a book and touch grass ffs

Yep and the justice system worked. He was defending himself and one of those killed turned out to be a pedo

lol no she didn’t, she was a coward and didn’t call them out and instead did a balancing act. I know many people in my personal who are moderates who thought she was a leftwing extremist. What she needed was a big flashy tirade against all of y’all to get attention of the uninformed

lol I don’t think we need fucking furries in the coalition my guy

Bro you look like you play guitar in your moms basement

I wish the democrats will nominate someone who just completely stand up to them. I think it could definitely benefit them politically. They are a small fraction of the electorate and provide a nice punching bag to distance themselves from while also helping their liberal bonafides

What leftists are getting shot at in the streets my guy

How many people died under mao?

Leftists will never have power inshallah

Don’t y’all criticize Dems tho?

I feel like bernie help create many of these cranks tbh. The whole identity politics vs class consciousness debate led to people like jimmy dore becoming trump supporters to spite the center left

At its core the Internet left wants to be beating on liberals not conservatives. It can contort itself to the latter from time to time but the former is the comfortable reflexive position. You have seen no campus protests in response to the President declaring that he wants to ethnically cleanse Gaza.

The issue is now most people won’t listen to the media and instead view Twitter as the “trustworthy media. It’s not these guys will change over more forceful nytimes headlines

Lol on social media maybe

Communists are like 0.1% of the population, why should libs even give a shit about y’all

Paper straws have probably been one of the most damaging things to the climate movement. It accomplished little and just pissed many people off in a very obvious public way. Carbon taxes are much less directly visible and have more downstream affects but are actually effective
comment in response to post
Not necessarily. Liberalism is much more broad than that. The democratic and Republican Party of the 1990s and 2000s were both broadly liberal parties in the sense that they believe in liberal democracy, now the entire Republican Party and some leftists have become captured by illiberalism
comment in response to post
Anarchism just leads to whoever has the most guns takes power, it is the most pro-authoritarian ideology form a consequentialist perspective
comment in response to post
This isn’t left vs right but liberalism vs illiberalism. On the spectrum the left is closer to being illiberal and anti-constitution than the liberals

Exactly which is why I have never said “men in sports” saying that is of course obviously transphobic. This is the one thing I thought might be going a bit far (at least politically at this current moment) but I can’t even say that people jumping down my throat.
comment in response to post
No I don’t, which is why I want to understand, but no one has actually told why it’s not a problem and instead just says I want to kill trans people. The main thing I’ve been talking about is the political reality.
comment in response to post
Sure, but you can see how he still had to modulate, even if his own views could be inferred, his policy he ran on was not that. This was especially important during the immediate secession crisis since he had to keep the border states in the union, which in the long run ended up aiding abolition
comment in response to post
I hate how I can’t even have a slightly modulated position on this fucking issue without being called a someone who hates all trans people. This is a fairly common viewpoint among most Dems for fucks sake. God y’all are addicted to losing
comment in response to post
Anyone saying that trans women should be in women’s sports is the equivalent. It is an extreme position that goes against most Americans and negatively polarized them. The MLK position is that trans people should be able to use their own bathroom and get hormone treatment, etc.
comment in response to post
It became a wedge issue because the left is obsessed with purity testing on the most extreme cases of it, cases which most Americans do not support. Whenever I even point this out I am told I want to kill trans people or something. I think the online left are just as obsessed with it.
comment in response to post
I guess your against democracy then? You need to convince these people if you want to make any change. Yelling at people has not worked now has it?
comment in response to post
Lol will you answer my fucking question? You are such a fucking pussy. How the hell do you expect to convince 70% of Americans if you can’t even engage with it. Got leftists are incapable of actually talking to people they disagree with and is why they are such consistent losers
comment in response to post
MLK rejected people like Malcom X and his strategy was to convince the public before polticians. Without MLK a politician coming out for civil rights would have (and did) fail
comment in response to post
No they weren’t. Obama explicitly said that marriage was between a man and a women till the very end and only supported civil unions. Also anti-slavery is VERY DIFFERENT from abolitionism. Lincoln was by no means an open abolitionist till 1862
comment in response to post
Oh noooo please don’t talk to your fellow Americans. I guess 70% of us are just hateful people
comment in response to post
The border was a real issue! I’m sorry but it is just a reality that there was more illegal immigration under Biden than the previous administrations! The damage was already done when they proposed the immigration deal

Answer my question… according to you I guess 70% of Americans are transphobes then www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcn...
comment in response to post
Of course there is a difference. Gender and sex are 2 different things. Why was a sex distinction in place in sports in the first place? Should we abolish women’s sport then?
comment in response to post
Of course it does, do you think Obama would’ve won in 2008 or 2012 if he came out in full throated support of gay marriage at that time? Of course not, you need to change the public’s opinion first, then the politicians, not the other way around. That’s how democracy works
comment in response to post
It matters politically, if it’s 12 trans girls then it should be a very easy decision since it affect so little people
comment in response to post
Since when does we shouldn’t have trans women in women’s sports = we should kill trans women?
comment in response to post
I hate to break it to you but that’s not where the country is right now. The country is not ready for that even if your right. Lincoln did not run on abolition when he ran in 1860 and Obama did not run on gay marriage in 2008. We should learn from how they made progress
comment in response to post
Exactly, which is why we should dull the wedge by avoiding that issue. Most democrats don’t even support trans women people in women’s sports, let alone the moderates.
comment in response to post
No it won’t stop the bloodthirsty bigots, it’s about the uninformed moderates who see them as reasonable when the Dems push for stuff like this
comment in response to post
I know there are very little, which is why it should be an easy political slam dunk to look like your “moderating” while actually supporting them where it matters.
comment in response to post
Why is sex distinction a thing in sports? What was its purpose. I agree gender and sex are different but it is clear that the distinction in sports is based on sex, not gender right?
comment in response to post
Eh, she has a bit of a point. Dems do need to distance from extremely unpopular viewpoints (like trans women in sports, which even most Dems don’t support and I don’t think is that illegitimate of a contention ) while also being for trans people it contexts where it actually counts
comment in response to post
Nobody benefits more from a constitutional order than the left and disadvantages minorities. Without it it truly becomes a lawless state with whoever having the most guns taking powe
comment in response to post
A problem I’m seeing with a lot of leftists right now is that they seem to want to use this democratic breakdown as an opportunity to win an argument with libs by showing that constitutionalism is a big fraud, when in reality we desperately need to be protecting and reasserting constitutionalism
