Isn't that the same price as a 155mm shell?

How do you find the comments compare here and on Twitter? This doesn't look all farmed!

Didn't know they grew Merseguera but makes sense they'd mainly focus on Spanish varieties.

Yes, very nice. I have drunk quite a few of the Petite Vanguard, which is lighter and juicier. This is a step up on the serious front but doesn't miss out on the pretty palette of red fruits and flowers.

I really wasn't that far off. I assume it was to ensure he didn't have to refund you if it wasn't ready to drink. Petrus 2022? 😂

- Is this a very tannic wine?
- Sorry, wrong question. You are meant to ask "is this wine made of dreams?" And yes, sir, it really is.

It's good

Cab Franc can be overripe too. Maybe it doesn't present itself as pruny and tannic, but it does lose its herbal / mineral soul.

Just in case the name didn't give it away... it's South African.

I thought these were good! Or so I read on a Burgundy brochure.

I've squirreled away two bottles of Vacheron Sancerre Rouge.

Loire Pinot is underrated. Like Cot and Gamay, they can pull some really fresh, characterful wines. I should explore more!

Yes, and the top layers each time flow to fill the gap, so you have to ladle all the way to the bottom in the next location without seeing what you do. A bit of a party game!

Egg whites, double cream, parmesano, and a small amount of self raising flower in the oven for 25 minutes.

Bizarrely, I've found that studying some basics of Plato has been useful for programming, mathematics and other work that involves explicitly abstracting classes from instances. Not saying you need to spend 3 years studying Greek philosophy, but surely you can spend a month or two on them at school.

It's a good game as you can play by thinking or just by intuition

Really enjoy Tsuro. Given there are no numbers and no reading, it makes it easy for the little ones to join even if it is ultimately complex.

Agree! It's like a natural thermal bath 🤣

I'd say that's the case for Rioja too! Hundreds of local producers many of which you only see served in some village square.

Rioja does deserve to charge more than a tenner 🙂
That said, I wasn't in love with Predicador.

For Anna Von Hausswolf, All Thoughts Fly is purely cathedral organ. Dead Magic, Ceremony, Miraculous have full band + vocals. They are great.

For organ I really like Jean Langlais and Anna Von Hausswolf
