Time to chill after a stressful busy day... Calls for some Dawg This album is new to me and my vinyl collection, I'm digging it so far!

Listening to some Ginastera right now. I'm so grateful that Hilary Hahn introduced me to him. He's become one of my absolute favorite composers!

I'm excited for this morning's record. The Morgans were a folky Sea Shanty group from CT. I love their sound, energy, musicianship, and humor! They only produced two records, which are hard to find. I now have both! They also have CDs you can order on their website, which I'll look into next.

#nowlistening John Tavener - Requiem for Father Malachy, Canciones Españolas

#nowlistening to one of my favorite bands! I fell in love with Steeleye Span from two records my father had, but didn't discover more until recently. This is my first listen of this album, but I'm sure it will put a smile on my face! Steeleye Span - Now We Are Six

#nowlistening Bloch - Concerto Grosso Martin - Petite Symphonie Concertante Love the Mondrian cover! Music-wise, I'm not a huge fan of the Bloch, but I've really been enjoying Frank Martin lately. Not sure if I'm familiar with that piece or not

#nowlistening Stanley Clarke - Let Me Know You This is Clarke's attempt at creating an 80s pop album. The first two songs are pretty decent, but the rest are almost a parody of bad 80s music. He's a below average singer and the lyrics are distractingly cringey. ⭐⭐/5

Very excited to listen to this for the first time! #nowlistening Roy Christensen, Cello *Dallapiccola - Ciaccona, Intermezzo, E Adagio *Hindemith - Cello Sonata *Schuller - Fantasy *Crumb - Cello Sonata

#nowlistening Edwin Hawkins and the Edwin Hawkins Singers - Wonderful! I found a copy of this in a dollar bin. The cover is completely split and the sleeve was torn in pieces. The record was pretty scratched - I did not expect it to be listenable. Other than one minor skip, it's played clean!

#nowlistening - Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, live! Manfred Honeck conducting, and featuring the magnificent Maria Dueñas - Carlos Simon, Four Black American Dances - Saint-Saëns, Violin Concerto No. 3 - Dvorak, Symphony No. 9

Another morning, another new-to-my-collection late Beethoven String Quartet. This time it's No. 15 as performed by the Budapest String Quartet #nowlistening

Ok, now I am super rooting for Team Canada

Wife and younger son are at Monster Jam, my other 3 are at home and at peace watching various screens. You know what that means... Late 80s Stanley Clarke and crossword puzzles #nowlistening Stanley Clarke - If This Bass Could Talk

And now for something completely different, but still beautiful #nowlistening - Yes - Going for the One ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

Lots of ugliness in the world right now and it's snowing outside (ugh, I had things to do). Time to listen to some beautiful music. #nowlistening Beethoven String Quartet no. 14 by the Julliard String Quartet

Finland!! #4nationfaceoff

Most of the Free Agents are off the board, but I still think the Astros should sign a couple of guys: 1. At least one depth pitcher or innings eater (tons left) 2. An outfield option. Alex Verdugo is an intriguing option. A lefty with experience at all 3 OF positions, could bounce back

Just hearing the Bregman news. I'm glad the Astros didn't get him at that price. It sucks - I was still holding out hope - but $40 million is an overpay.

Fly Eagles Fly! Now back to hockey and baseball

In this house we go birds

Love the Chiefs getting booed, GO BIRDS

Finally, the version of the fight song that I think three of you wanted.

#nowlistening Freddie Hubbard - Liquid Love
