The Core Time 2 will be a metal case, the replacement for the Pebble Time Steel 2 that never launched

He has said that this app will support the old Pebble watches. Hopefully we get a beta test, it will be nice to be in the real world of app installs again.

Core Time 2 on the other hand is built from the ground up, maybe a product going forward. They are selling pretty well.
From my calculations there are 10k per batch, 3 watches, gone through batch 1 for all, 2nd batch for black, around 1k left for the white and 7k left for Core Time 2. 50k+ sold?

They actually did 2 batches of the black. It sounds like this is the only time to buy the Core 2 Duo. From my reading it sounds like it was built using old Pebble 2 chassis and screen to get something out the door ASAP and judge the reception. My guess is that those are going to be a one time thing

Most definitely, purchased both.
Still haven't found a watch that does everything Pebble does... Even after 9 years of being dead.
Funny thing is I'll try a watch, realize it's meh, use it for a while, think it's ok, then go back to Pebble and it's like my hands are untied and I feel free again.

Just do it, you don't want to miss out do you?!

Notifications truncated, updates break notifications need to open the phone app to get it to work again, had a cool GPS thing but I only used it once...
Having the Pebble functionality with a 30 day battery life, plus fixing emojis, don't have to command line the Pebble app onto my phone? Amazing!

I've tried to use many many watches, none of them came close to the Pebble and always went back.
-lg g watch
-Moto 360 sport
-Samsung Tizen with the spin bezel
-Amazfit BIP
-Fossil
-one plus watch 2
The one plus was the best, but still so many limitations... Best of the wear os battery life,

I like the timeline, the battery, the always on screen, the viewability in the sun, I'm fine with the heart rate monitor and step counter.
I don't need anything crazy for further tracking.

E-ink is very different from the LCD being used by Pebble, that's technically called e-paper
The Pebble screen gets around 30+ frames per second with no need to reset the screen to clean up the artifacts.
E-ink needs to refresh to clear artifacts and it gets very few frames per second.

Hegseth and Gabbard must go.

Same exact buttons, but added support. Have a better explanation for the reasoning here:

It seems like he is getting a better response than expected and gave a nod to the Pebble time round today... If they get a-round to it 😜

I understand the perspective, Pebble 2 (c2d) looks much better than the original, even better in person.
I dig the Time also, but I got the Pebble Steel recently, it's pretty awesome looking too (hadn't gotten one before because thought it would look bad). I'm withholding judgement until I touch it.

He just did a blog post that they are going to try to add it. But said that you need to show appreciation by creating apps for it 😊

Not sure if this helps, but it's technically manufactured in China?
From here in the US ❤️🩹
Wish us luck!

Yeah, there is an insane person here right now. Hopefully we can rectify this soon, really appreciate Canadians right now ❤️
We hate this more than you, fighting from the inside.

So some of these things had already been in the wild.

But you can test these things internally to be sure before it's verified by a 3rd party. He had been working on these watches before Google released the os because he was somewhat confident it was going to happen.
The Core 2 Duo is actually using surplus screens from the original Pebble 2.

I think he's doing it this way so that he gets the true believers in Pebble and doesn't make glossy claims about how everyone should get this no matter what. He has given all of the disclaimers.
But all products advertise unverified features before it's sold because those tests happen at the end.

Yes, not just because community support, Eric said it will come from Core with the support

It's got Pebble OS, Pebble app store, apps and watch faces are good, the timeline, buttons and navigation are awesome, screen is rocks in daylight, always on is awesome, 30 day battery is awesome.
I tried the Amazfit BIP it had some of those things but was a poor experience. It's the whole package
