Well if there’s any position you can get away with putting some random loser in it’s quarterback

Who exactly is available in FA or the draft that would be even a lateral move?

Ok cool good luck with that

If you sold an authentic Picasso for $20 and your only defense was “No one offered me more” all that proves is you’re bad at selling. And they may not be trying to tank but that’s what’s going to happen.

Even if they wanted to tank only getting a 2nd and 3rd for an above average starting QB and WR1 is incredibly bad value. Seahawks are on tilt.

I don’t agree with tanking as a strategy, but even if that’s what you think is best only getting a 3rd for an above average starting QB and a 2nd for an above average starting WR1 is pitiful. Schneider got fleeced worse than the Jamal Adams trade.

We’re just straight up tanking this year aren’t we? A starting QB for a 3rd? A top WR for a 2nd? We’re so so fucked

I don’t know man. The early success led to hubris and a firm conviction he’s the smartest guy in the room is my best guess.

Yes, he is. Thanks for playing. Feel free to actually watch a game before shorting your opinions out into the world sometime.

He’d have retired mid year like John Schneider’s big free agency pickup at center.

I think Geno is a top 12 QB with a league average line and top 8 with a decent one. Darnold is bigger choke artist than Kyle Shanananahan and he’ll be so terrified behind our line he’ll need massive doses of Valium just to suit up.

Which was a bigger fleecing: giving up a top 10 QB for a 3rd, or giving multiple firsts and other picks and players for a box safety? Either way Schneider entering an elite pantheon of incompetence.

Unless the intention is a complete tank job this is just proof JS is incompetent. Guess we were blaming the wrong person for the Jamal Adams trade fiasco.

Just to be clear I’m talking about the implication of Darnold on the Seahawks. Geno is a wizard at mitigating pressure. You all absolutely fleeced us. This is almost as bad as the Jamal Adams trade.

I’m sure the $10m they save by going with the worst choke artist in the league will let John “guards make too much money” Schneider break his 15 year streak of fielding dogshit O lines.
comment in response to

JS has been here well over a decade and has never fielded even a league average O line so yeah I’m pretty confident it’ll still be shitty.

Putting a historically bad QB at dealing with pressure behind a historically inept offensive line seems like a poor choice.

What’s the alternative? Pay Sam “One of the worst QBs in the league vs pressure” Darnold $45m to play behind our dogshit line? Kid’ll get David Carr’ed and retire at mid season like he was a free agent center JS signed.

I cannot believe ownership is on board with this bullshit. Are they trying to tank for Arch Manning or something? Fucking incomprehensible

Serious question: is there anyone in the Dem establishment that isn’t a complete coward? Aside from Bernie who’s 83 so not the best choice to lead us into the future.

It’s especially notable in Eastern Orthodoxy. Lots of folks born into it having a real “Are we the baddies” moment when so many converts are joining explicitly because they’re neo Nazis and they feel most aligned with that denomination.

It’s overly broad but it is a real phenomenon. Like if you kinda identify as a Repub because your family has always been there’s a chance you’re a normal decent human. If you only got political after Trump said he’d send trans people to the death camps you’re definitely garbage. Same w/ religion.
