I usually paint with watercolour or Gouache’s and then start embroidering afterwards. It’s actually a really good art technique because sometimes you just add some stitches, sometimes half the paint disappears under embroidery and sometimes everything is covered in stitches 😂

Commissioned by crew, the theme for this abstract embroidery was a specific painting and kind of 1970s vibes and colours. I hope it's still happy in it's new home because I have such a soft spot for it!
