Meanwhile, over at the National Portrait Gallery, they are looking for someone to lead the paintings conservation team, including budgeting and hiring, as well as being a 'leading' painting consevator for 39K. That's a senior post.

An American colleague of mine rented a flat on arrival in London. She found one of those in the cupboard under the bathroom sink and thought the previous Tennant had left behind some kind of antique contraceptive device. She's never seen one before.
