Fuck Kean. His staffer told me this morning that the bill had nothing to do with cuts, but promised to "pass on my concerns." She had no response when questioned why these weren't the concerns of Kean and his staff.

A great loss, but spending the last 10 minutes thinking through all his books made me smile and feel calm in a way I haven't in a while. I have to think he'd appreciate the irony that his death would bring joy to one of his fans.

Just took the money I saved by unsubcribing from WaPo in Oct and used it to support The Contrarian. Jennifer Rubin is an exceptional journalist, and voices like hers in independent journalism will be increasingly important in the battles to come.
