Hakko and Weller have mass. Once you dial in the temp it basically stays there. And isn’t affected by the size of the component or wire gauge. And slowly is like 1-2 minutes from turning on. It’s usually ready before I am.

I still have my RadioShack soldering irons. But have bought all types since (gas, digital, cordless). Good brands are Hakko and Weller. If budget isn’t an issue I would recommend this digital Hakko.

Small manifestations in and around Paris happen weekly. The administration has no problem with them and treat them as the populace blowing off steam. But let it be something broadly popular like labor or pensions and all their claws come out.

Now, those survivors have passed away. There are almost no first hand witnesses left.
Even if we reintroduce it to school books it will be up against even more vitriol and fake news claims.

My generation, Xennial, the holocaust survivors were just entering retirement. I had the opportunity to break bread with some of them, hear their testimony, see the scars and tattoos from the concentration camps.
We had first hand testimony and some of us still chose to call it fake.

I’m not so sure about the last one.
I grew up believing there weren’t that many racists left. And that it was a thing of the past.
Now, through social media some of those white school friends are showing their whole racist ass in 4K HDR.
