Oh, and the other thing is how people sing along at the top of their voices. Now, I know people love the songs of the artists they've come to see. But surely the idea is to hear 'them' sing them? Otherwise just put on the Bluetooth speaker loud in the bathroom, and sing along in the shower (surely)?

Oh, I thought it was an A minor chord, how disappointing. 😞

Definitely! Christmas is not that far away either. 😉

Nice, I'll pass that onto my wife who's an ornithologist & nature guide. She's the specialist on birds, I just ask the questions. I also have a brother who has a blog on birds and photography, so plenty of people who will be interested.

Oh, that was a few years ago. However, if she comes again I can let you know. www.bozar.be/en/calendar/...

Did you see her when she was here last? I went to the two shows she had in Brussels, one with an orchestra and the other in duo (the next day). Really excellent, and very inspiring too.

Yes, I guess so.

Okay, I didn't know that. I think that (from what I've encountered) some companies sell so few albums outside of the UK that they just don't think about it.

Looks (and sounds) great, I'd love to buy a copy. However, many of these smaller companies don't sell their CDs with EU tax added. Therefor we're back at square one here in the EU. Please pay IOSS or we miss out (yet again). @crackedankles.bsky.social

Looking forward to that. I loved Blue Nile and have a few Colin Steele records, sounds a winning combination.

John, maybe you should do a strip about a 'hater' and his daily life. Could be a good subject.

Just did it yesterday - I'll edit it later and send it on. I was trying to find a way of using a drum sample without wading into copyright waters. I think I solved the problem.

Yes, it popped up on Rough Trade - I didn't even ask for it!

Morning all + @misterquartet.bsky.social @risottodrake.bsky.social @hungryforsound.bsky.social Only two weeks to go before the holiday starts. Exam surveillance and marking, which means a late start most mornings (now).

I still have these BBC (this) records. I have to say I wonder what to do with them. Discogs?

Wow, that looks great. I knew Dave a little bit, he was often at the local jazz club where I went to jam, in Brussels. A very friendly (and chatty) guy.

Definitely know what you mean. Mind you, I have seen/watched some really good ones, which I guess are more 'a' drummer solo, rather than a drum solo. Ex: youtu.be/bNsUz2g6Puk?...

Or to be more precise, I hope the American people at some point (in the not to distant future), are going to say enough is enough.
