During #RevPit, I get a lot of, "Is this concept something you might be interested in?" I respect storytelling in all its forms--every genre, age level, POV, mood, and form. There's nothing I won't at least consider, but I won't know how I feel about it until I see the sub package.

My "set way to handle them" is to read them and try to give the authors good advice about whether it's truly necessary. There are so many ways to write a good book (with and without prologues!), but the word "Prologue" is a red flag for many agents. If you've got it, just make sure it matters!
