Are golds shareable? “Wordle 1,469 2/6 🟩⬜🟨🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩”

Totally agree. EB was 23 when he recorded that. Alan Prices’s loose organ runs, so so good. All in one take too.

One of my favourites. Incredible musicianship and energy in the vocal performance. There’s no way when it was recorded he looked as relaxed as he did there. Haven’t seen that for ages!

Very next post on my timeline

I agree with this. Sorely overlooked and baked in atmosphere. Perfect for a late evening drink in the garden (alone).

Just re-read and you said ‘critically underrated’ which is a different thing entirely obvs! Still find it strange they are SO overlooked.

Always had a place on my player, 1st album was one my dad played loads. I’m not sure MK is underrated as such (as the sales allude too) but the band behind him are almost invisible. Considering they are so tight, and so talented, most would struggle to point them out in a lineup or name any of them.

Well, yeah I suppose so.

First one of your quizzes I’ve got 100% on. (I’ve lived there all my life so should do).

Look about 15 years younger than me though, not sure how fair that is!

They’ll encourage them to marry and breed with other techbro kids and after a few hundred years there will be tech Habsburg equivalent where the forehead starts to resemble a baseball hat peak.

We could distract them with card tricks.

I’ll give it a go, I imagine a quite good Crazy Horse is more than most can achieve for me.

Oh!! In that case it’s not. but it is something.

My favourite NY album, my go to. I love lots of his records but that one has always been No1 for me.

Well I’d not heard of either but really like the Dreamies album. Incredible stuff and seeing as it’s so pioneering you’d think it would be more celebrated or at least widely known.

Thankyou Andrew, you’ve (yet again) introduced me to something I’ve never heard of, really want, and can’t afford. Hope you are well, ;-)

You’ve caught up with me, Happy Birthday! x

A great book, never seen the film and never knew I had TPTV, just set to record!

Spent ages a while ago trying to google it with no luck. I think I was hoping there would be a decent version out there somewhere that would erase the awful din we made from my consciousness :-)

And we had one I’ve never heard anywhere else where you had to pair up boy/girl, stand back to back, and crane your necks around to look at each other singing “I see you, I see you, Fa La La La La La La!” I dreaded it! and the tune has been an ear worm since the mid 70s.

Yes we sang that too. Along with a lot of WWII songs (Lily the Pink, White cliffs), Lambeth Walk, My Old Man’s A Dustman and some more hippyfied folk type stuff like Puff the Magic Dragon and briefly the Ballad of Accounting too.

Yes! Exactly that.

The very definition of a difficult wank. The fella who did mine was called Dr Dibble and that made me quite happy.

Was recommended a Georgian wine by our local merchants the other day, haven’t tried it yet but can heartily recommend this that I opened about 10 minutes ago….
