On this day in 2009, 16 years ago, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky was first released on the Nintendo DS. It was the first enhanced version of a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game and added more dungeons and Pokémon, as well as special Story episodes www.serebii.net/dungeonsky

Finally, the Pokémon HOME Pokémon Scarlet & Violet compatibility will be here! 🤪

This week @joemerrick.bsky.social of Serebii joins us to talk about Applin, 60 FPS Legends Z-A, and GO Stamp Rally! youtu.be/6jXu-DhyBQs ✨

On this day in 2023, 2 years ago, the Pokémon anime series, Pokémon Horizons, aired its first episode in Japan. This series features Liko & Roy as they join the Rising Volt Tacklers to solve the mystery of the six heroes and Laqua www.serebii.net/anime/epigui...

On this day in 1999, 26 years ago, Pokémon Pinball was first released on the GameBoy Color. This game had you play on two pinball boards to go through Kanto and catch all the Pokémon www.serebii.net/pinball

Darkrai obtained in Pokémon Sleep Also managed to get Cresselia’s 3 Star Sleep Style too Productive morning indeed.

the article speaks to a phenomenon i have been watching with horror: our sources of information nowadays, being ad delivery platforms, have realized it's more effective to show us what we *want* to see (or more specifically, what drives us to engage more with that platform) rather than what *is*.

On this day in 2016, 9 years ago, mobile title Pokémon Duel was first released on Android in Japan, with iOS release one week later. It let you play matches using Pokémon figures against other players It continued for 3 years before ending in 2019 www.serebii.net/duel/

I went down a rabbit hole into the "physical Switch 2 games cost $90" claim and found a self-feeding cycle of misinformation that speaks to how Google is making us all dumber. www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/no-sw...

Mochi is looking pretty dapper in his new Pokémon collar

My feed on socials is still filled with new posts of people believing the $90 game nonsense Really goes to show how damaging just one dumbass content creator can be, because people don't fact check and other creators and sites race to make their ragebait articles. It won't stop

I do like that our first Chingling card in 16 years is a Team Rocket's Chingling. That's just such a ridiculous notion. I love it.

200 Candy to evolve into Flapple or Appletun, so 400 in total (until Dipplin comes) They are only in Apples during the event, so you can't GO Plus + them. This will be interesting. It's a fun concept, but the candy requirements to evolve ruin it for a 5 day event.

The illustration rare Team Rocket’s Orbeetle great One of my favourite Pokémon drawn by one of my favourite artists. I think this is my goal!

See now we have confirmation, surely this will spread and stop the misinformation going around right? Surely creators will put a note out correcting themselves, right? Right?

See the issue with the misinformation that spreads about Switch 2, about Pokémon etc., is that it basically just muddies everything and makes genuine criticism harder to push through If you need it to make your point, you lose your point.

Managed to get my Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order in. Roll on June 5th.

On this day in 2015, 10 years ago, Pokémon Rumble World was first released. This free-to-play 3DS game had you go through various stages to get more Toy Pokémon as you play as your Mii and work to help a king beat a magician who has more Toy Pokémon www.serebii.net/rumbleworld/

I do wonder if any other Pokémon games will get Switch 2 boosts and upgrades. Pokémon UNITE on Switch sorely needs it, the menus can get so laggy. It'd be nice to get a bump for that. Pokémon Café ReMix with a resolution bump would be nice too

Oh my gosh, the music in Pokémon Sleep when Darkrai is calmed. It's a new arrangement Oracion from the Darkrai movie They did well with this Source: @maziari1105 on the other place

So I do wonder how long it'll be before we learn more about Pokémon Champions, and if it'd have a native/upgraded Nintendo Switch 2 version. Considering its scope, surely it'll be designed to go beyond Switch 1.

So we can all agree that now we have the mouse feature for the JoyCons for the Nintendo Switch 2 for docked and touch screen for handheld, that now is the time to bring back Pokémon Ranger, right?

"$499.99 for the Switch 2 is too expensive" And yet this sold out

Been meaning to thank you all. Last month was the second biggest non-launch period month Serebii has ever had, only behind March 2020 for obvious reasons but even then it wasn't by much. Thank you all! I really appreciate your trust and support. Roll on Z-A coverage!
