Unless bugs/etc are now boilerplate practice w/state gifts, I doubt this - Trump is Netanyahu's literal get-out-of-jail/rule-for-life card: he means this w/his whole chest (also Israel is a US proxy anyhow).
Also, the days of relatively subtle Israeli diplomacy are gone.

The money, the arms can only go so far, do so much if the nation they fuel tears itself apart, and at the end of the day it is all built on delusion.
This is not sustainable, none of it is. Not to absolve either of their guilt, but: all participating are either hucksters, or marks.
