When will Wizarducks and the Lost Hat be released?

My new short horror game EVALUATION comes out next week on @itch.io for FREE. Spread the good word, sinner. The Voice of God will soon fill your ears. Rejoice. #gamedev #horrorgames

Well this kinda snuck up on me... Today officially marks my 10 year anniversary of my YouTube channel! I might Livestream or something this weekend to celebrate. Not sure. Stay tuned!

New screenshots from my #Doom episode! Despite what you might think, these shots are indeed all from the same level...

It's ok to admit that you are jealous... Best. Figure. Ever.

Was Wizarducks and the Lost Hat inspired by The Legend of Zelda? @dragonitespam.bsky.social says not quite...

Don't worry, I have known @dragonitespam.bsky.social for a while, so I swear I wasn't being horribly unprofessional in this clip for no reason 😆

Last week, I spoke with Michael Peng, one of the developers behind Wizarducks and the Lost Hat, a Zelda-like game made in GameMaker. We discussed the origin of spellslinging ducks, how the old PC Harry Potter games influenced its mechanics, and more! Check the video out here:

Everytime I see something made with Scythe, it gives me that deep feeling in my soul that compels me to go make something.

Hey look! New screenshots from my #Doom episode. This time from the penultimate level, BW1M7 - "The Eyes of Ra."

Today I released Scythe 0.4.0 which brings Hotspots to Unreal 5.5: 🧵(1/9)

Huge day for Beefarena, the demo is available on Steam! It contains a single biome and the first two bosses, every run is randomized, so you may find new enemies on repeat plays! Beefarena is coming this summer, wishlist today to stay up-to-date! s.team/a/3217930 #gamedev #indiedev #videogames

So my Dad just accidentally ran over my SteamDeck (in it's hardshell case) with my mom's Jeep. I was prepared for the worst. Still seems to be in working order. Gonna run some tests on it, but I'm very impressed. @valvesoftware.com

May not seem like much, but this is basically the sign of the end times.

The world sucks right now, so go play a good game this weekend. One of my favorite game series of all time, Mass Effect, is on sale on steam for less than the cost of a meal at McDonalds. Go get that Legendary Edition and Andromeda too for good measure. What games do you play to escape stress?

Thunderbolts managed to not only be an enjoyable film on its own, but it made me excited for the future of the MCU for the first time in a while.

Hell yea! Go learn you up some stuff about the GOAT Perri!

I haven't played the Dynasty Warriors games but I imagine at some point the main character yells "Die, nasty warriors!" and it's a really epic moment.

It will cost you $0 to RT our work. 🌱🍓🌳

people talk about being "good at game design", and, i mean, me too, that's my job, i take pride in it. but what is actually important for making a good game is not abstract skill at game design, but understanding how and why the particular game you're working on works. which is a different thing.

The layout of level 6 (BW1M6 - The Scales) for my WIP #Doom episode. Or perhaps I am hiding something...

Post a pic of who you wanted to be as a kid.

A few more in-progress shots of level 6 of my #Doom episode. This level is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Hopefully players will agree!

I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return.

I've spoken at length numerous times about my feelings towards #Alien 3. It's a flawed film, with some large structural problems, but overall I still love it. That being said, Alien 3: The Legacy Cut, an edit done by a wonderful team of fans, is brilliant, and I'd argue the best way to watch it.

Finished my taxes. Time to go throw up from stress and anxiety over how much I owe...

While I am happy to see the #Marathon franchise back, as a fan of retro singleplayer shooters, the fact that it is an extraction shooter has me less than enthused. Perhaps some remasters of the originals so we get something singleplayer? Just a thought. I'll probably check it out regardless.
