Oh no! I’d send hugs, but that seems like a really bad idea.

Maybe, but it’s Trump’s voice I hear in Godfather II when poor stupid Fredo brays to Michael, “I’m smahhhhjt!”

I don’t have to use that, do I?

I temporarily shut down facial recognition on my phone as I re-entered the US, in case there was a “pull-aside”.

That’s … a LOT. Of everything.

He doesn’t care. He will never face another electorate … one way or the other. His attention is just on vengeance and grift. Mostly grift.

It’s like something out of Alice in Wonderland.

They’re just doing this to remind people like Vance and Rubio not to start “running in place” and drawing attention from Trump. Also, Trump has no intention of running again — he will simply not leave (due to, say, a “national emergency” that cancels elections).

Dumb and Mean is a terrible combination.

Queens Rich. (Not to be confused with Queensrÿche.)

Willful ignorance born of a life of privilege. “I’m rich, so I must be smart.” (Ditto Trump and Elon.)

I don’t like to assume BUT might Guangzhou be an importer from China? (“I call it Jyna.”)

I just saw “coercive tools” and assumed it referred to the entire Trump admiration.

Molly, I’m getting horrific Leo Ryan flashbacks.

As with The Holocaust, the numbers are simply too big to wrap one’s head around. Perversely, if you try to home in on a couple human examples, detractors will claim that’s all you could find.

I missed the WH press release stating that Bukele wasn’t appropriately dressed for the Oval Office.

Extreme Evangelicals need Israel to be intact so that the Rapture and/or Armageddon can take place, and they’ll be saved. They could care less about any Jewish residents. Sadly, Netanyahu understands this but courts them anyway for his own ends.

Always makes me think of “Big Night” (aka “Waiting for Louis Prima”).

Also, your pronouns ARE reality. And not just for you. It’s not performative.

Another of St. Louis’s best. 🙄 I love my city, but seriously, where are they finding these STL-adjacent nuts like John Sauer, Ed Martin, and John Durham?

That man wants to be Secretary of War SO bad.

Look at the (new-ish) map of her district. They panicked when she almost lost twice, so they roped in a huge weird chunk of out-state to ensure her victory. Forever.

It’s their schtick. Once per month you have to vote to: 1) restrict abortion rights 2) restrict gay/trans rights 3) expand gun/ammo access It doesn’t matter if it passes. Probably better for their reelection chances if it doesn’t.

I always suspected it was, just in case, a hedge against the property being seized, since a family member was buried there.

I only see 3 paths. Losing Path 1: Get Congress and States to amend the Constitution. Losing Path 2: Argue to the Supreme Court that the 2-term rule only applies to consecutive terms. Potential Winning Path: At a strategic moment, declare war or other national emergency and cancel elections.

What we really need to protect is vanilla beans grown in Mississippi! […] Wait — they’re not? Alabama either? Okay then: we’ve trariffed Madagascar but we can still get vanilla beans from Mexi— […] They’re tariffed too? AND chocolate? Crap.

I’ll allow it this one time. Then it goes to the Smithsonian.

Ed finally has all his docs (not yet officially translated) and MAYBE an appointment, but it’s probably too late now. A friend said to skip trying to engage the Chicago consulate and call the DC embassy directly.
