Zelensky was willing to sacrifice himself to save his country. Trump sacrificed his country to save himself.

Still internalising the Vance Munich speech. A sitting Vice President goes to Europe, barely says a word about the despotic murderous regime which has invaded its neighbour, and instead lectures his allies about freedom of speech. It’d be funny if it weren’t so serious.

All the more so given that Trump got nothing in the disputes.

Jasmine Crockett: "The problem is that Americans thought it was okay to take a full fledged criminal and make him the President of the US and then they want to act aghast when he does criminal things. Let me tell you, we have a thug in charge of the US and if we don't wake up we may not have a US"

“We know she's not a lawyer, she's clearly not a leader, if she keeps on like this she is going to be the next lettuce” Keir Starmer #PMQs

"yEt MoRe TuRmOiL iN tEh mArKeTz..." 😱 30yr gilts: 8am 5.457% - 5pm 5.446% 10yr bonds: 8am 4.894% - 5pm 4.892% GBP to USD: 8am $1.214 - 5pm $1.217 🙄

How many times in the past week have you heard UK broadcasters say “Pakistani grooming gangs” despite 2% of Pakistanis being responsible for child sexual abuse? 88% are white British. How many times has Musk or Farage been the headline? They are openly normalising far right narratives.

Government should seize the moment, while Musk and Farage are at odds, to close the loophole on foreign donations to UK parties. The danger was always that introducing legislation would trigger a donation. So do it now, before they kiss and make up.

🧵Musk & Tommy Robinson sum up the fundamental challenge Reform may have moving from a 15% party to a 30% one. In August just 11% of Brits said they had a positive view of Tommy Robinson. Embracing his cause seems likely to be an anathema to electoral success

A real photo and perfect metaphor heading into 2025.

🧵Badenoch-Farage row on membership numbers speaks to a wider challenge for the main parties. How do you engage with Reform? Strategy to date has been to avoid direct criticism, but Reform's growing momentum over Autumn makes plain an ignore Reform strategy untenable.

The reality is that a relatively small number of people in the UK align with Farage or Reform. If you look at comments in places which are not targeted by his far right bot farms and agitators, people can’t stand the prick and make it clear. It’s all a mind fuck, a carefully constructed mirage.

Here's a passage from today’s post about why you should all unite against the billionaires. Read the full piece here and consider becoming a paid subscriber to support my work: www.thegodpodcast.com/p/thou-shalt...

Richard Tice in 2018 on George Soros' donation to UK political groups: "He doesn't live here. He doesn't pay taxes here. What right has he got to interfere with our democracy?" Richard Tice in 2024 ahead of Elon Musk's donation to Reform UK: "If Mr Musk can legally donate... We'd be delighted."

Anderson is an idiot. A nasty idiot. Reform is a cesspit. A bunch of total wankers, funded by rich buffoons and bastards. It’s all a total grift. British people being scammed in plain sight; their fears and prejudices being harvested for power. Repulsive. liveapp.inews.co.uk/category/bat...

Have read a few pieces saying Starmer may not survive as PM & don't think people are appreciating the consequences. I can't stress enough I just don't think the public will tolerate 'one more switch of PM' instead will conclude the system is not just broken but unfixable

Possible future careers for Gregg Wallace? -Reform Party Candidate. -GB News Presenter. -Contestant on that Ant & Dec jungle get me out of here thing. -Cabinet minister in the new Trump administration. -Fireman. -Daily Mail columnist. 😳

WHY SHOULD I SUFFER ALONE?

The politics of privilege are what the farmers’ protests are all about www.taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2024/11... Yesterday’s farming demonstrations revealed what these protests are all about. Farmers want state subsidies for the wealthy and are indifferent to the cost to the state of supplying them.

You have to admire Nigel Farage - who else would have the nerve to pretend to be the defender of farmers, after selling their whole industry down the river with his Brexit shitshow.
