I wrote something that, on reflection, was way too pretentious. So I deleted it, but I do like trees.

I lived in the FDR, from 1982 to 86. The film is really good.
I would recommend the Deutschland 83 TV series if the subject matter appeals to you.

The one in the Coventry motor museum, is sand coloured. I can't recall why, or even if there is an explanation.

A guy rides past my house on an Ariel square 4. Almost every day in the summer.

In a bar in New York my wife was asked if she was Irish. She replied no.
The questioner, then went on to say she was 12th generation Irish. My wife who has Irish grandparents, thought well I'm more Irish than you. She wanted to order a Guinness but thought they would carry her on their shoulders.

Having been whacked in the neck by a Hornet (OK it may have been a wasp, but it was at least 9mm). I never ride one without one.

I can't really criticise, I had a 2012 Triumph Explorer, and my mates called it Optimus.

Jack Miller rides a Goldwing, so it's the rider not the bike that counts.

I live near the factory. The best I can do are some rather hard stares at anyone in Triumph shirts, in Morrisons.

It will be fine. However there are two things I've learned.
If a friend(under review), tells you they will bring a tent for you, they are not invested in ensuring that it is waterproof
If you take a 3 season sleeping bag, it won't be the season you are camping.

I was lucky, the local dealer is near the factory. They had a few bikes that had been factory demo's, a year old, 2000 miles. So in my budget.

I'm currently riding a Tiger 900 GT Pro. I did have a 2012 launch edition Explorer, that I bought new. It was a great continental tourer, but I got tired of the heft of it.

I'll be there Thursday, it looks like all my cold weather gear will get used though.
