I like to hear you tell it like it is here on blue sky! Unhampered by the protocol of the New York Times.

I’ve always thought that racism and bigotry has always been at the center of conservative philosophy.
While there may be Republicans that are not racist, they certainly don’t have any problem with their elected officials exhibiting racism and bigotry.

I admire your ability to stay so detached

I get that you are using this as a conversation starter, but how about a link to the type of health plans you’re talking about? Without any frame of reference regarding cost and benefits, it makes it difficult to assess this idea.

We could’ve had a president who wasn’t surrounded by sycophants that knew when it was time to drop out. We could’ve had a primary and maybe had a candidate with the ability to communicate and win.

I think it would be quite strategic to focus on the January 6 violent criminals. Some of them are already committing crimes and one was killed I today or yesterday by a sheriff. They are the embodiment of the lawlessness of the Trump administration.

If I was the king of Italy, I would immediately rebuild and restore the Colosseum to its original grandeur, of course, using modern materials. That would include the adjacent Market as well.

I keep thinking, where is the opposition??? The Democratic Party seems so incredibly feckless.

Thank you for speaking out. I hope you will become much more visible as the voice of opposition to the authoritarian mess that we are seeing unfold.

For me it’s becoming increasingly clear that the Democrats need a young, articulate and charismatic leader that can take on the moment. A person who is not afraid to speak truth to power and is willing to go into the belly of the beast and take the fight to the enemy. That person is Pete Buttigieg

You are absolutely right. Opportunities do abound, but will Democratic politicians take advantage of those opportunities, that is the question.

I don’t disagree that there is a lot of misogyny out there. I do think there are many women in the Democratic Party that are much better communicators though. I think Kamala was caught flat footed many times with questions. She should’ve been ready to respond to.

Haha, but no doubt W and Clinton will still be kickin’

I would have to lay this defeat on two main factors. Joe Biden hung in way too long and should’ve dropped out so we had a proper primary. Kamala Harris was not a great candidate, and she picked a running mate that was likable but had skeletons in his closet that should’ve been ahead of time.
