Hopefully, I wasn't the gaslighter :-( It just occurred to me that some English born residents are keener than are some native born Welsh to soak in Welsh culture. Admittedly not all, though to be fair to you.

I learnt that when I was very young (admitedly not in Cymru) When doing Bobajob, sponsored walks etc. most generous were less well off peeps. Except for one neighbour living in basic 30s semi, who owned big local house building firm. He was very generous. I asked him if he meant pence not pounds

Same happened in the 80s when over-inflated prices came back down to allow actual families (priced out of market) to buy homes.

Yes, I think there are definitely shortages of Welsh schools, and this has been predicted for years. Some Victorian school buildings are being "passed down", presumably as a temporary measure. Most southern counties have very few Welsh senior Schools.

It is so important that Wales and for that matter all the Nations stand against the Far Right. Please don't follow America this time.

Hi, thanks for letting me follow you. No disrespect, but I think the 30% might be co-incidental. As many English born are pro Iaith Gymraeg and many speak it.

Good points. I would say that the Evangel (Good News) goes back to the time when Jesus was born and I agree that the name Evangelical(ism) is much more recent, but I wouldn't say that in its true form it is a cult. However, I agree that the cult of American Nationalism has hijacked the name.

Strangely, it is free throughout Northumberland (although not in Newcastle). You pay a one-off fee of £1 for a parking disc, then its free parking for 3 hrs everywhere :-)

Don't worry about it, just use this space to practise. The more mistakes you make, the more you will learn. It's not an easy language to master. Just give it a go.

Unfortunately, he and his right wing type already has a lot of supporters in the UK and mainline Europe. We need to resist them now.

Well, if the Tories see Mark Drakeford as being on the extreme Left, where does that place them?

Is he just phishing for some hits on X from those who left?

Ah, yes, Mark. You are right. However - ‘For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith’ (1 John 5:4 NLT).

Although it seems worrying that in one major country, a political party has taken over the Church.

I'd say more weaponised more by toxic "proud Welsh" unionists who don't like the language.
