80 years ago today 4/29/1945 Fascist Italian dictator Benito Mussolini is shot & killed & hung in the town square with 3 other Fascist leaders & his mistress. Mussolini’s body/face is then pummeled to an unrecognizable form by many thousands of angry Italians seeking revenge.

Youth turnout in 2024 was only down 3% from 2020. What killed us is that young voters shifted right by double digits, caused by far-right youth groups outspending us nearly 10:1. If we want to avoid that in 2026, left-leaning youth organizations need to be better funded.
