One of the coolest jobs I have held: processing a dozen types of eucalyptus for the koalas at a zoo.

It is, truly-- for fun I reversed the white and black, and it gave me a real "Dark Matter/ Dark energy that connects all known Matter" vibe!

This made me laugh-- I recently had a tug to watch "Murder, She Wrote," and so I decided I must be getting old. 😁. Huge fan of Matlock, so go figure. Good luck on your "world" building!

Going digital, I LOVED my Canon SX540-- you can get a fully refurbished for about 350 (mine fell in a lake). Otherwise, the next jump for me was to a Nikon P950, about 900. LOVE IT. I tried a couple in between and did not like them. Good luck!

That is similar to what others have been sharing with me-- my local librarian said "Bewilderment forever changed my view of the World." Wow. I am distracted by snow, so my reading goes slowly.

WHOA. I did better than I realized-- those things that look like sticky barbs? Well, THEY ARE!: "The red-bellied woodpecker's tongue is long, sticky, barbed, and highly maneuverable. It can extend nearly 2 inches past the tip of the beak."
