I probably just missed it, but in all the #drones news I've read in the past few days, I saw no mention of whether anyone is ever charged with violation of federal laws regulating #drone operation. The answer is yes--but not very many: www.faa.gov/newsroom/faa... #FAA

When the mask mandate was lifted from Mass General Brigham in May '23, hospital transmission of resp virus went up. When the mandate was re-instituted in Jan '24, infection rates went down. www.news-medical.net/news/2024052...

You can't make a case AGAINST better education. But I am troubled by the fact that all my classmates got the same education I did--but we didn't all vote alike. Education may not change our political climate as much as people think.

Too much liberal commentary comes from a college egghead mindset or a political consultant background. We need more regular ass people.

Bringing my pinned Tweet along with me as I migrate here because this still matters & because we cannot normalize what Trump intends to do to DOJ. Justice should never be a political tool for presidents & their pals.

I think the wrong questions r being asked about the proposed tariffs. The real question Is how little will he accept from Mexico , Canada and China in order to be able to say the threat of tariffs worked ?

Prediction: There will be some well-publicized arrests of undocumenteds accused of felonies. Also token raids on farms, factories, construction sites, and the people caught up in that will suffer terribly. Ditto tariffs: Mexican and Canadian govts will make concessions. Trump will declare victory.

Good. It’s horrific how other platforms abused their reach to strangle local, independent, and national outlets alike. I WANT to see news and actual vetted work and I WANT journalists to get rewarded for it. Because I want to live in a thinking human world over some AI generated slop dystopia

Things I learned from major American news organizations today: --Drinking until you pass out is bad for you: New York Times. --It's okay to pee in the shower: CNN.

This! A big part of what is going on right now is an effort to get you to give up. The most meaningful step you can take right now—the first one towards preserving our freedom—is to refuse to do it. Don't give up.

Anyone, any entity, anywhere in the world can just pay him any amount (for anything he promises in return), and there's no disclosure of the payments, no oversight of any of it by anyone, and of course no potential bribery prosecution (of him) because... immune. www.nytimes.com/2024/11/24/u...

Hey, remember when I used to track the COVID death rates in red vs. blue counties and in low- vs highly vaccinated counties and found an absurdly high correlation in both cases? Asking for no particular reason. apnews.com/article/covi...

Will these upcoming Trump tariffs on Canada and Mexico include petroleum? Canada and Mexico are our two largest sources of imported petroleum. www.eia.gov/tools/faqs/f...

Trump's choice of Russell Vought, a Project 2025 architect, to lead the White House budget office was seen as further evidence of the threat the incoming administration poses to Social Security, Medicare, and other critical government programs. www.rawstory.com/trump-s-nomi...

Don't come into our country to take our jobs. And don't take jobs in your own country in a factory that makes stuff for export to the USA. If you try that, we'll slap a tariff on your ass.

"Trump spent the campaign pretending the deeply unpopular Project 2025 agenda was not the blueprint for his second term. So it’s pretty rich now for Republicans to claim that a vote for Trump was a vote for him to implement Project 2025 policies."
