The fault along SE coast of #Amorgos has broken in 1956 (Amorgos #earthquake).
Ongoing seismic swarm is close to small island of Anydros, at SW tip of Amorgos fault and close to Santorini-Amorgos Fault (S.-A). ⚒️

A warning level was declared earlier today. It was done as a precaution for the weekend due to challenging weather conditions. see: www.mbl.is/.../segir_ha...

Therefore, it is possible that seismic activity will not be high prior to the next eruption.
Bad weather could reduce the sensitivity of the measurement network and thus shorten the response time to a volcanic eruption.

there has also increased slowly since the end of the eruption, but the activity is still low.
However, the trend over the past year shows that seismic activity prior to magma flows has decreased with each event.
