Inside you there are two wolves. One is active, the other one is on hot standby and becomes active if the first one fails or is taken down for maintenance. It's 3 years old but this talk by @whatyouhi.de on testing OTP is a wonderful introduction to a tricky topic. I love that it takes a pragmatic approach with the idea that an ugly test is better than no test. I've seen GenServers go untested just because of the difficulty of doing it correctly
