Presque Isle is very pretty and the Gull point trail is nice to hike! The Watson-Curtze mansion is a fun place to visit if you like a simple museum to visit. There's also a litany of good places to eat like the brewery at Union Station Smuggler's wharf

I'm an erieite! It's definitely a nice bag but certainly good as a day trip. I second the person who said stop at the Lawrence Park Dinor, it's very charming and was built in '48 in an actual train car to serve the workers at the very nearby General Electric train factory (now wabtec ugh) contd...
