At the very least, one could simply lay out the facts of it, then point to the claimed motivations and interrogate them a bit. This is just like read a White House press release.

Note: this was very sloppy work done while a sort of sick 5 year old crawled all over me demanding attention and snacks. Apologies in advance in case mistakes were made (they definitely were).

- It is a diverse group in terms of degrees and expertise: There are 4 JDs, 2 MBA, 2 PhDs, 1 MD and 2 MPAs.
MBAs don’t predominate!

- Not everyone works in for-profit businesses: 10 have profiles that are standard “for profit executives,” though that also overcounts because it includes lawyers, at least one of whom is a civil rights attorney (fairly far removed from a CEO even if it also wouldn’t count as a non-profit).

2 of those 18 appointees are current students in the UW system.
Of the 16 non-students on the board:
- 4 have worked in public education broadly and 3 have had jobs at Universities. Not including advisory/board positions; I mean, actual jobs :)

There are 18 Regents at the University of Wisconsin. 16 are appointed by Governors and 2 are automatic “ins” as a result of their position (e.g., State Superintendent of Public Instruction).

Please don’t make any more memes that predict the future/cause it to happen. Maybe time to reverse jinx it with a different meme?

I heard something similar, but it was closer to "better to take a big swing and not be able to prove it than causally identify something less important."
So weird that we heard similar things... ;)
