I meant in terms of the 'big boys'. Just feels empty

You're just looking at his return game. Not his service game. He won 70% of his service points. Those 54% you mentioned are just the return points.

That is not accurate. He won 54% of the return points. But 70% of his service points. Makes a big difference in terms of his overall numbers

Maybe thats why Ineos is cutting so much at the club... so they can keep paying the press to stay on his side

If that system is to be kept, they will need 10 players this summer (at least). Because they will have to sell a bunch to pay for the new ones. They will be stuck with very specific players who won't count for much with the next manager.
At the end of the day - 14th??? Dearie me. Embarrassing

This would be a longer conversation. I don't think he is ready for this level. His inflexibility is a sign of it. Protecting his 'castle' at all costs. It's gonna end badly. It's only a matter of time.

If their EL campaign falls short, it will be interesting to follow the relationship between him and the fans. The love fest can only go so far, when the results are shocking

He has always had this sort of behaviour... but the media over here decided to fall in love and present him as saviour and most excellent person

They better pray they get to the EL Final... or it will be quite hard to justify maintaining this car crash

And it's still an inflation of numbers. It's everywhere

Let's keep inflating these passing statistics, with dozens and dozens of very short passes.

Any other manager, with 6 wins in 22 league games, would be long gone... but the media darling gets to go on. He better pray they can get past Bilbao, or this season will be an all-time disaster and no leeway for next season.

But secretly what we wanted to see

Left side of a back 3 is different from playing as a left back. Especially with Sporting using Matheus Reis / Nuno Santos and others to give that wing the necessary depth on offence. I hope I'm wrong, ive always had a soft spot for left footed CBs, but i dont see him as a left-back

He has never done it. Don't see how it would translate in a much more intense league (not to mention the overall level of players).

Between Amorim at United and Hugo Viana at City, i have my doubts you'll get InĂ¡cio... but its the silly season, so anything is possible
comment in response to

They've had an amazing season, but honestly, don't InĂ¡cio playing that role. Watched him play for Sporting too many times to 'see it', but hey, sometimes they surprise us
comment in response to

That might work, but with TAA out of the window, playing InĂ¡cio as a LB, you probably be a bit 'limp' on both sides in terms of attacking
comment in response to

Gonçalo InĂ¡cio as a LB, especially if full-time, is a massive stretch. And he will struggle massively in the LFC two-CB system (which is why he is still at Sporting and hasn't made the jump).

He won't be there much longer.
