A little of everything, but mostly working on the first draft of a horror/dark comedy feature.

More than a few familiar names in here. Nice! Congrats to everyone who made the list!

Stewart finally sighs and shouts "Cut! That was all good... (dramatically disappointed) but we'll have to cut the pickle bit". Stewart's tone made it clear that my career in late night TV was thus over.
And then I woke up. 4/4

but the pickle embarrassingly careens right, a few feet from Stewart's desk. I decide the bit can be saved and make the bold move of running on stage to make a second attempt. I reach the pickle, but it's all soft and slippery now and I can't get a firm grip to throw it again. Stewart looks on. 3/4

I of course agreed to this perfectly logical plan. Cut to later, the show is on, I'm in the front row, Stewart is monologuing. The moment comes: Stewart says "pickle" (the context around what he was discussing is lost to me now). I make the throw. Stewart holds his hand out... 2/4

Whatever works to add that sprinkling of tension and guilt to your writing!

That'd cover pretty much everything then. Though somehow, I think I've avoided training montages and characters with obvious catchphrases up til now. 🤣

That's the hope! But we'll see. I'm in that phase where I'm going back and forth on how much I like the idea. :P

An awkward horror rom-com.

I was screaming at this! I know he had a lot on his mind, but what a deliberately bad choice.

Amen. My screenwriting has almost stopped over the past couple weeks. Social media doomscrolling has been a huge time killer.

I tend to get bored of "cozy games" after a little while, but Stardew definitely helped make the opening months of the pandemic a bit easier. I get the appeal.

#Scriptsky is just a general hashtag/feed you can follow to filter posts from screenwriters and film people who use the tag.

Oh, yeah, for sure. And I'll keep joining those ones when I can (until something finally drives me off X for good), but just fun to see it spreading over here, even on a part time basis.

This month's chaos has been such a writing killer. Gonna try to do better this month!

Oh, nice! Not sure yet if I'll have plans that evening, but will join if available. Glad to see #scriptchat getting a shot here.

Ok, as someone working on their own unicorn IP, I love this. Congrats!
