My parents are huge Queen fans. They saw them in the '80s. Apparently they were booed at the Sunbury Drunk (I mean, Pop) Festival way back in the '70s - but it was by all accounts a drunken binge of bogans at a wanna-be Glastonbury.😁

prohibits on-selling by Australia to another country without the permission of the USA. We can't dictate to the USA, the builder, where we want to send them. That's what the Swiss are doing. It should be the German government. It's bizarre. 2. Who would ever buy from the Swiss? Ever!!
comment in response to post
I have two issues here, neither of which you can likely answer with clarity, but perhaps considered speculation: 1. Why the hell do the swiss have this overriding control on the provision of tanks by a German company? For example, in Australia, the purchase of USA Abrams M1A1 like all contracts,

Yeah, it's not like Agent Orange wouldn't immediately contact his handler; putin.

Yes, I was being flippant. Sure we make the Steyr licenced rifle etc, but specialist rifles? Anything developed in-house? Nope. We have a defence industry, it's just mainly run by the USA or UK companies who at the whim of their kings could close them down overnight.
comment in response to post
Yes, an indigenous military is important. There's little Australia can do as successive governments have destroyed our ability to build even rifles, let alone planes or tanks. It's what I admire about France. Their defence industry is total self-capable. They don't rely on anything from USA for eg.

I don't know what you're specifically talking about but I recall the "outrage" of dragon's teeth lying around near Lyptsi but upon investigation they were found to be surplus to requirements and just dumped by the contractor.
comment in response to post
which is what the Dept of Defence bitched about in regards to the French delivery timeliness. We need to regain our sovereignty from the USA military-wise. Stop buying their junk, buy only what's good. More F-35s with eye-watering costs? Or Gripens? No, F-35s for us!! 🙄

When we selected the French diesel option we did so because we didn't want their nuclear powered subs that require maintenance we can't provide. Then, lo and behold, we opt for USA ones? And later British ones? WTF? And we don't have a guarantee we will get them,
comment in response to post
We had the french subs about to be produced. But the defence force as usual wanted to keep making changes to the subs as if somehow Australia can only have unique subs. Now we're buying generic, used nuclear subs from America? Maybe? What a shit show.
comment in response to post
Well I must say I hope they do axe that ridiculous waste of money. Australia has to pay the USA to upgrade their shipyards in the hope America has a spare sub in ~2030 they can give to us for a few more billions. If not, we're left with no subs. OMG our politicians are fucking idiots.

"U.S. officials"? More likely some MAGA slave working for Agent Orange trying to boost TACO's myth as a strong leader. I call bullshit. Trump doesn't know what day it is and Hegseth can't even name Königsberg (ruzzian kaliningrad), I doubt they'd be able to find Iran on a map.

Catchy tune (even if I can't understand a word of it. 🤣)
comment in response to post
Well this contradicts about everything you've said. "show support for some victims" is a ridiculous statement, easily destroyed: Do you show support for Malian children being press-ganged into the armies of either side? Well I haven't seen you say that. Ipso facto, you support a despotic regime.

I think this is the one where they interviewed the gunner afterwards and he said he knew what to do because he played World of Tanks. He kept aiming for the optics to blind them and then hit them at the turret to hull seal because it's a weak point. Who said gaming was a waste of time. 😁

Or as the vatniks says: Just wait till ruzzia really begins to fight... huzzahh! 😁🤪
comment in response to post
Ah, Netherlands, where one of my favourite cyclist comes from, Tom Dumoulin (retired now). OK, maybe surpassed now by van der Poel. 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️🚴 Plus they have a race where the winner chugs Amstel beer. What's not to love about a country with priorities !! 😁
comment in response to post
What a vacuous statement. Supporting innocent victims is COMPLETELY different to supporting a murderous regime. You support a heinous regime. Iran sponsors terrorism and supports ruzzia. HAMAS is a terrorist organisation. They're friends of ruzzia; another terrorist country. Get some morality!
comment in response to post
Oh, so you can look up the time difference, Melbourne Australia. (Only joking, she's a good cook! 😁)

It is 6:00 pm Sunday (roughly) here. Dinner time soon!!!! 🍽️ (My girlfriend's cooking😬) --- ONLY JOKING ---
comment in response to post
You, however, picked a side. A side that is heinous and murderous. That makes you a reprehensible low life. Is that clear enough???
comment in response to post
See, you're a simpleton attempting to pigeon-hole me to a position. Let me elucidate this for the stupid people peddling your logical fallcy. I don't support any regime or country that murders people, be it Iran, HAMAS, Israel or whoever.

Your support for a genocidal regime is noted. Sick and slick, genocidal lover.

I hear the T-14 is invincible... if only they could get it started. 😂

It's an understandable view but the genie's out of the bottle. ruzzia knows it. China knows it. The USA can't bluff that hand anymore. They have no cards. They won't do ANYTHING that could risk confrontation with an autocratic nuclear power. This means their posturing about Taiwan is also a bluff.
comment in response to post
to defend anyone but themselves. This was always suspected by me (and probably many in the parliaments around the world), this only confirms it. Any and all treaties based on this are moot now. Toothless.
comment in response to post
Not only that, putin installed an anti-covid decontamination unit in the kremlin. He made people sit 10 metres away from him. Is that a man who would risk nuclear war? Of course not. But he convinced the USA and that's all that counts. What this proves is the USA will never use nuclear weapons
comment in response to post
The problem is, ruzzia had convinced Biden's administration that they would use nukes if the war was "escalated" by the West. As we know this never happened because one only has to look at all the power in ruzzia. Most of their family live in the West. They have vast properties in the West.

I once heard this: Q: "What's the difference between a cop and a criminal?" A: "A badge" This was in relation to violence of police at demonstrations.
comment in response to post
When police are in large groups like these, they act like everyone else that is in large groups and armed. Like thugs! This is true, universally! I've seen them in Australia, in France, in Ukraine. You name it, police are all the same.

They don't look particularly interested in being there. trump probably would have got more enthusiasm from cadets?

Yes. That and I don't drink very often so 3 glasses of wine is enough for me. (What a boring life I lead. 😁 We are not "party animals" that's for sure. 🤣)

This jerkoff is constantly spewing ruzzian talking points. When challenged and refuted he just went blank. He has no answer to truth. He's basically just a troll for the ruzzians and not worth replying to. Mute and/or block this vatnik!
