Impossible to overstate how serious this is: those affected are senior NIH scientists - really top researchers - some will be directing large ongoing projects with big teams. Now as soon as their fixed-term contract is up (previously renewed routinely), they are out.

Palestinians & Israelis aren’t going anywhere. Any ‘solution’ must start from that baseline, then solving how they share land in mutual peace, equality & self-determination. Otherwise it’s not a solution. It’s a further escalation. And— even if it’s just rhetorical— we don’t need any more of those.
