Spring Training games are here! We’ll have audio coverage of 30 of the @royals.com 33 games leading up to Opening Day on March 27th. We’ll have TV coverage on FanDuel Sports Network KC for four games (3/9, 3/14, 3/15, 3/19). Hope you’ll join us!

Crown Jewels is free for all to read on a #Royals game day. What could be better? This week I wrote about Nelson Velazquez, a pitching staff comparison that blew my mind and what I'm watching for as the games get started this afternoon.

Seeing an actual baseball starting lineup for an actual baseball game...not gonna lie, this feels really good.

One has to ask themselves, after seeing the parade of authoritarians getting confirmed in the senate....just how many fucking skeletons Matt Gaetz has in his closet, and how bad they must be for Rs to tank his nomination the way they did.

Rewatched the OG 1980s 'Dune' movie over the past few nights. I loved it as a kid, bcz it was the only Dune we had aside from the books. It does not hold up. The acting is pretty rough, the inner dialogue stuff is way too much, Harkonnen's are cartoonish caricature of villains.

Considering how rough the Bally Sports app was to use at times, this is great

Going to add one more caveat to all of this, and when one is just starting to get into Radiohead at this point in time in history, one probably also should not start watching the television show Severence. This is beginning to feel masochistic

HOLY SHIT THIS IOWA COMEBACK!!!

Wow. The SNL 50th Show was incredible and ending it with The End Medley from side two of Abbey Road felt perfect. And also like the end of something. Bittersweet, but beautiful

I will also add that becoming obsessed with OK, Computer and Radiohead at this time in history might not be the best timing for the best mental health outcomes !

Wife and I watched 'Becoming Led Zeppelin' tonight at the movies...and she isn't a Zep fan, and enjoyed it. A great story, and it just amazes me at how random people can come together, form a band, and take the world by storm.

I don't know what I was too busy doing in 1997 or since, to never have listened to Radiohead's OK Computer...but at the urging of my 15 year old daughter, I did that last night. I was, and remain, shook. Mesmerizing, prescient, naked, haunting, ethereal. What a masterpiece.

Just doing breath work in a waiting room while I wait for someone. Heart rate was 76 when I began the exercise six minutes ago. My entire body feels in a state of blissful relaxation. I know it sounds kookie but don’t knock it til you try it.

Ned Yost explained to us why he wanted to return to the #Royals org, this time as a senior advisor. Turns out watching the games from afar isn't as fun as being a part of it all. "And I’m like, 'I’m not going through that again.' I can definitely help." www.mlb.com/royals/news/...
