A Bluesky feature I would like is the ability to mute reposts of a particular post, for when suddenly everyone is doing the “repost this and say a thing” dance.

Nothing I have ever seen or read before has put the sheer scale of the universe into perspective quite like this photo and the explanation alongside it.

That’s credits on Blue Prince. I’ll be back, because I have Theories on what that ending cutscene was about. For now though I need a break, and to play a game that doesn’t hate its players quite so much,

Bought another domain off the back of a stupid project idea. One day I’ll learn my lesson, but this is not that day.

Note to self from standup this morning: it’s a “pull request,” not a “tug job.”

On the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, we thought we'd answer a question that's often asked, "If they raised the Mary Rose, why not raise the Titanic?" Allow our scaled diagram to explain...

One day we’ll get to a point where trucks are required to have cameras covering their blind spots rather than “be careful, I might run you over without ever seeing you” signs.

YouTubers, you can either have a clumsily segued Better Help ad read or you can do “drop [completely irrelevant thing] in the comments” engagement farming. If you do both in a five minute period I will judge you for it.

I really hate the announcements on SWR trains. * If you attack our staff we’ll call the cops. * If you see anyone doing anything suspicious call the cops. * If you haven’t got a ticket we’ll call the cops. Just chill out. It’s a fucking train ride not The Purge.

I’ve walked 13 miles in the last two days, and with every mile I’ve felt slightly better. Amazing what some sunshine and exercise can do.

Trains should have a single carriage where the announcements are turned off for those of us who know what we’re doing. I don’t need reminding that this train goes to Waterloo every 5 minutes.

YOU GUYS.

Someone thought up this feature in 2021, was super excited for it, and no one since then took a step back to ask if Microsoft Teams on Switch is something people want in 2025.

"...So she called his bluff, and got the Manchester Evening News in for a photoshoot. He stuck to the story, saying Virgin Media has falsely charged him for shameful content that he didn't watch, but his face told a very different story..."

It's also the day for my favorite meme! If this aging Klingon warrior can get it right, so can anyone.

If we could hold the sudden discourse about the ending of The Last of Us for six hours or so that would be great, I’d avoided spoilers since release, and my save is at a guess an hour from completion.

I’ve been reading a fair bit of dystopian fiction lately, a thing which really shouldn’t be providing more hope for the future than reading the news. Where’s the rebel army rising up to put an end to this shit?

I’m trapped on my sofa, please send help. Or a snack, a snack would work as well.

It seems that “disabled people who are unable to work or who need support to work should live a comfortable life and not struggle” is a radical opinion in this here race to the bottom UK

My most left-wing trait is that I believe everyone’s basic needs should be covered by the state, even if the reason that person has for not working is “I’d rather watch daytime TV”.
