-entrepreneurs comes from a strong public education system. If our cities want to return to that and create a system that supports itself, those are the steps we need to take.

We allowed nearly all of our products to be made by sweat shops in China, but this is where we draw the line? lol.

Glad you enjoyed it! I also took your recommendation and watched Un Coeur en Hiver! Aside from the beautiful pieces being played, I enjoyed its portrayal of admiration. No matter how much we admire or love someone, there are times when we won't be able to have them for ourselves. We see them from-

Or...maybe we should abolish the program and ensure these people go through traditional routes, no matter how arduous the process is.

The nostalgia of the 50s, 60s, and 70s can largely be described as much of the employment being local. This allowed communities to grow, mom and pop shops to blossom, and the quality of life improving. Once that was shifted away, we only saw affluent communities fence away these opportunities.

I try to take a break from social media when I realize that I am posting too much, haha. It has worked quite well, and it has forced me to read, watch films, go outside, and just be productive in life.

DOT picks the worst locations for the Citibike docks, and I believe it to be a deliberate choice.

Same situation in NYC, luckily my city council member voted for COY. We’ve seen the most housing added in my borough, and plenty of surprisingly high quality developments.

Absolutely insane that much of the green areas in the original Parkchester development were removed in the 70s-2000s in favour of more parking, lol. If anything, the area has lost so much of its original charm. The theatre, the diners, the abundance of mom and pop shops; we no longer see them.

Definitely will check it out if I can find it. This isn’t a French film, but All About Lily Chou Chou is a Japanese film that utilizes classical music from Debussy! It’s integral to the theme of the film.

Thank you! Outside of the trilogy, my favourite French films are La Haine and Amelie! I’m quite a fan of the French rom coms so Amelie was quite the delight. I would also include Anatomie D’Une Chute, although it is a recent film.

Does NYC use passenger counters at bus entrances? It seems like the numbers are low due to lack of fare enforcement on the bus.
