In Raiders he stows away on top of a submarine for days. It's fine, the series operates on pulp comic logic. Skull is just really boring.

It's a bad movie, but nuking the fridge was good and no sillier than the rest of what he survives in the series

One of the arguments I've seen for the steady violent crime drop from the early 90s until 2020 was just that our most lead-affected generations were gradually aging out of that window

Everyone knew Arnold wasn't attainable and we didn't have a bunch of press tours with actors talking about their workouts while pretending they're natty

Yeah even when I was actually lifting for sports in high school, I didn't put on mass in Hollywood ways. I just had an ass and thighs that made pants shopping a pain lol. I feel like I might have had more trouble dealing with that if 300 had come out when I was 14 instead of 17.

Part of the genius of 30 Rock is that they never used him too often.

Using a decree about NYC congestion pricing that probably won't even do anything to launch your kingship declaration is extra stupid

It probably happened some, but eating a lamb would have been a big future income loss compared to eating a male baby cow

Usually those are because in England, Germanic speaking farmers raised food for French speaking nobility. Lamb is German, so probably the French didn't eat it for whatever reason. Maybe because it was for wool production exclusively.

I think the line is whether you can eat them with your hands like most Greek fries or just digging soggy potatoes out of soup

Sort of unfortunate that the best example of Washington Dems reaching rural voters is a top 5 annoying congressional Dem (still better than any Rep obvi)

Some of the posts I've seen him fighting with aren't even about the charges, just people noting that he had a dogshit super bowl

He's not even a good NFL punter! The weirdest guy to cape for like this.

A lot of non-voters liked both because people who rarely vote don't care much about policy by definition. If they did, they'd probably vote more!
