From what I've heard of the game, not playing it might be an even better pay off.

Buying music is more affordable now than ever before but Bandcamp and Quobuz can’t compete with the convenience of a monthly subscription; nor can they compete with fans preferring convenience over audio quality.

Deadly Class is brilliant. It was the only time I read a comic and felt like it had a soundtrack.💜

DEI—but only if it’s to accommodate the fragility of a man’s ego.

Overjoyed to see a full album release. Absolutely loved Devour when I heard it a few months back. 💜

I love his early work but his films in color are absolutely breathtaking.

I will recommend Iron Lung to anyone willing to listen to me (a dwindling number these days 😂). What a terrific game! I did enjoy Faith but found it brutally difficult at times.

He should just have that on his business cards. Why he would need business cards, I don’t know.

Was this photo taken before or after you wrote Infinite Jest? 😂

The usual suspects for proto-punk are typically:
The Velvet Underground
MC5
The Stooges
Los Saicos
And I would argue The Kinks as well

For me, One More Hour is the single greatest breakup song ever.

Hip-hop is the one genre I’m the most apprehensive about when it comes to live shows. If they want to rap and dance, great. But if the show is just an artist dancing and lip-syncing —I really don’t want to pay for that.

Solid album. It always makes me think of Cheap Trick if they went down the punk rock path.

This was the second Miike film I watched (after Ichi the Killer) and what I loved the most was seeing his range. Just a goldmine of wild ideas, love seeing someone mention this one!

Finding Knightriders in the wild like that probably felt surreal lol.

A film that deserves to be praised for its glam rich references alone.

The more that I think of it, Violet is a fantastic death song.

I had an anthology of the Books of Blood, that was technically my introduction to Baker. His short fiction just blew me away. I didn’t know horror could do—whatever he did. 😂

I remember thinking the scene of the mortician taking a bite out of Jason's black heart was pretty gnarly, but I was pretty bummed when I realized that Jason was not going to be in the film titled: Jason Goes to Hell.

I take that back: I watched it for the first time when I was 12 on a basic cable channel, but I don't know if that counts as a first watch.

I've never watched Jason Goes to Hell sober and I consider that a compliment to the film.

This was actually the first Clive Barker novel that I read, it was during my adolescence years and boy, am I glad that I did. As my body and mind were going through changes, it was rewarding to discover a horror author who understood this--all too well. 😂

My theory of him has always been: he always bit off more than he could chew. A filmmaker with such pronounced focus and vision, who can tell stories that weave socio-political commentary with the human condition, and he got shoestring budgets for so much of his work.
