These days I'm of the mind that TV shows are like relationships. It's really hard to sustain one when you only get to see each other for eight hours every three years. I formed my closest bonds with TV shows that I got to spend extended time with. We went on dates every week for most of the year.

I love bottle episodes! I’ve written a few, and they usually give you a chance to really dig into the relationships because you have all your people stuck in a confined space with nothing to do but talk.
