I honestly think that while graphics can age quickly a games mechanics are not subject to the same degradation, and that even the graphical age of a game is only an issue in a subjective sense. Ocarina of Time, Morrowind, Myst, and countless others are still great today, not "good for their time".

Me, getting home from a 12 hour shift: just found out I got a 2% raise for getting out of the 6 month new hire probation at work, neat. My Mother: gonna just blow it on more crap aren't you. And she wonders why literally no one on this planet wants to be around her.
