just FYI, the Wordle Bot "My Picks" is not playing as if a computer were starting at the beginning. those picks are simply which possible words would've eliminated the most remaining possibilities at each turn based on the info you have. it's not a measure of the most efficient way to play the game

yeah people somehow think it's a good thing to leave half a million Americans without paychecks over Christmas. sometimes it's not about winning or losing or leverage. there's $100B in hurricane relief, another $10B to farmers. it doesn't concede the debt limit. it's good

it is both sad & hilarious that opposing Trump is so toxic for the right they have to go along with whatever he says to stay in Congress (this is the definition of fascism, but that's another story). when what he says happens to be what Dems want... well conservatives just have to deal with it

Trump is still quite proud of Operation Warp Speed. he will be more pro-vaccine than people think, even with RFK Jr

one of the "drones" he posted about (this is the well-known Cessna Citation, literally the most common business jet in the world)

the comments were all people like "yeah man, totally agree. great advice. love following this page!" the few people that were like "stick to weather", which is something they absolutely would've said to anyone else (e.g., "stick to sports"), were heckled and laughed at

there's a weather enthusiast facebook page that focuses on southeast Louisiana where I'm from and he has gone full nutjob on the drones. he posted a long rant yesterday that included:
-the current administration is planning a hostile takeover
-9/11 was an inside job
-doomsday prepping

continuing...
-Spurs look decent. 12-12 record so far and they'll probably be a play-in team
-Wemby is averaging 23.6p/10.4r/3.6a/3.4b/1.2s (1st in NBA in BPG). he's also attempting 9.1 (!!) threes per game
-Chris Paul is a decent aging vet for them averaging 10.2p/8.5a/4r

-Lakers look pretty much like the last 2-3 seasons. some nights they go out and lose by 30 to the Timberwolves, another night they'll beat the Grizzlies
-LeBron is a freak of nature averaging 23/8/9.1 at 40 years old
-AD is shaking off the "Street Clothes" moniker by playing in 118 of last 129 games
comment in response to

-LaMelo Ball dropped his first 50-point game of his career and it currently averaging 31.1 PPG (3rd in the NBA). the Hornets still suck tho (7-17 record)
-everybody on the Pelicans is hurt and Zion might not even play this season. looks like a wash for New Orleans
comment in response to

-Cavs (21-4) and Celtics (19-5) are atop the Eastern Conference, with the standard lineups dominating for both teams
-Donovan Mitchell is averaging 23.7/4.8/4.4, Jayson Tatum 28.2/8.9/5.7/1.2 (6th in the NBA in PPG), and Jaylen Brown 25/6/4.6/1.1 (13th in PPG)

-Grizzlies are the bounce-back team of the season so far with a 17-8 record, 2nd in the West. they have the number 1 offense in the NBA
-7 Grizzlies players average more than 10 PPG, including surprise standout Scotty Pippen Jr. (yes, that Scotty Pippen)

-Jokic is the front runner for MVP again (32.3 PPG - 2nd in NBA, 13.6 RPG - 1st in NBA, 10.2 APG - 2nd in NBA, 56% FG%, 50% 3P% on 4.4 atts per game - 2nd in NBA)
-Nuggets are struggling despite this with a 12-10 record. Jokic dropped 56/16/8 on the Wizards Saturday and they still lost
